Does anybody care about the governor's race? |
|
Or, are we going to be 20 years without a Democrat in the State House?
DeStefano?
Malloy?
Who is going up against Rell?

Rell needs to go. I can't stand her and her "outfits".
I'm rooting for DeStefano. I believe he has what it takes to get rid of the eRa of Repuke control over the Governorship.
I guess people hear the approval ratings and just shrug their shoulders.
I posted a topic about Rell choosing Fedele but it's sinking....

2. I'm not excited by either DeStefano or Malloy |
|
Brian Schweitzer, Democratic Gov of Montana, is my hero and neither DeStefano nor Malloy come anywhere near him.
But because I need to make a choice, I'm supporting DeStefano. I like his position on issues better.
Malloy is DLC and there is no way I could support a DLC Dem.

3. I'm hoping that either of them can come through. |

12 years of Rowland/Rell has been bad enough. If some of the national races heat up as strong democratic wins, maybe the governors race will also swing democrat.
What is going on with Richard Blumenthal? Wasn't his name being bounced around in the last year or two as a candidate?

I think Rell needs to go. Yes, I was very happy that she signed the Civil Union Law (thanks to our DEM congress) but she's still a part of the Rowland era and we need to rid everyone involved with Rowland's administration.
I will support DeStefano, although I feel he has no charisma at all.

5. I got polled by the dems earlier this week and said I |
|
would support Bill Curry, oh well. I will vote for whoever the dem candidate is, but don't know who I would vote for in a primary. With Rell, she is either as crooked as Rowland or dumb as a post -- neither is a good quality in a gov.

I'm in the same boat as you. I was hoping Dodd would run... or even Lieberman so we wouldn't have to deal with his neo-con foreign policy views.

9. I have met DeStefano & he's from middle class family- NOT born with silver |
|
silver spoon in his mouth and he is all for helping the poor and middle class, coming from that background himself. I really like the guy. Don't know that much about Malloy.
