Coulter Derides Call For New Iraq Strategy, Endorses Lieberman Approach


Right-wing pundit Ann Coulter appeared on Fox News this afternoon to discuss the war in Iraq. Coulter derided the lawmakers who have called for a redeployment strategy from Iraq, questioning whether “FDR to deal with this during World War II.” She argued that the only type of politician she “admires” is someone like Sen. Joseph Lieberman (D-CT) because he “does want to defend America and fight the war on terrorism.” Lieberman has argued “our troops must stay” in Iraq. Watch it.

CAVUTO: You know, there is talk about him maybe bolting to a third party. The seeds are there for a third party movement. Do you buy that?

COULTER: I think he should come all the way and become a Republican. He wouldn’t be our best Republican but at left he’d fit in with the party that wants to defend the country.

3. Liberman is a Republican

If Ned Lamont loses I refuse to vote for Lieberman. People can talk all they want about party unity blah,blah,blah but this girl ain't gonna buy it. I won't vote for the Repuke but I will stay home and for the first time since I was 18, I will exercise my right not to vote. I am so upset at the AFL-CIO for supporting Lieberman. My father is an old time union guy and I can't believe how they could sell us out.

except when he ran for Vice-President, and that was because I had no choice.

The first time he ran, I voted for Lowell Weicker. The second and third times, I just didn't pull down the lever for "Senator."

I am glad DINO (dem in name only) Lieberman revealed his true colors when he said
he would vote with the dems if he wins as an independant, no real DEM would ever
have to say that.

It is a good thing that I am holding my breath and betting my farm on his "DEM" votes.

He has been such a convenient repuppet (repub-puppet), he casts token votes opposing
the repubs on unimportant issues, but votes with them every time they bring something
of importance to the floor that they really want.

His war mongering speeches really disgust me.
