1. I think both are fairly good |
|
But, neither one has the clout & media presence to take on "Snow White" (gag) Jodi Rell.
Unfortunately, I think it will be 24 years without a Democrat in the state house... wasn't Bill O'Neill the last Dem elected way back in '86?

2. Personally I like DeStefano |
|
Out of the both of them, I think that he's the person who can at least run a healthy campaign against Rell.
I'm fearfull that we will get stuck with Rell for four more years though. Oh I can't stand her. (:puke:)

He was my mayor for a number of years when I lived in N.H. If he can keep a diverse city like that running smoothly all these years, I'm sure he can do a good job for the State. Hey guys!! We are a BLUE State, why so much doubt? What has Judy Rell done that's so great except try to "mop up" and make us look a little "cleaner" after Rowland was through with us. With the damage being done to the Rep. party by their own, it's looking good for us here in Ct. People are beginning to wake up!!

5. She has done nothing great... |
|
but, the media loves her and they adore her "down-to-earth" persona. To them, it's a big change from the arrogant Rowland (I even knew a big Republican guy that hated Rowland personally & thought he was a "prick"... but, loved him as a governor)

The problem is that too many Democrats want to pretend they are Republicans. I like DeStefano and if he will focus on issues that will show there is a clear difference between him and snow white than all of theu Democrats who think she is so wonderful will realize she is just another Republican and they will vote their party.
Focus on:
BEST Hot button issue: DeStefano believes in equal rights for all people and supports same sex marriage while snow white is in favor of continuing to discriminate and divide people. Civil unions are as far as we will go with Snow. She will fall out of favor with the media if DeStefano holds her feet to the fire on this!!!! If this was Texas this would not be a good issue but here in Connecticut we should not be afraid to make this a key issue.
DeStefano supports universal health-care while snow white supports health care for on the people who can afford to pay it.
DeStefano supports taxing the rich with a Millionaires tax while snow white knows she can't support it and offend her Republican friends.
THIS IS HOW SHE WILL BE BEAT!

7. I just seen a DeStefano TeeVee ad |
|
That was kind of uplifting. I like how he made a point to suppose universal health care including children.
I take it "Snow White" is the new pet name. I like it! :)
