Who here watched the debate? |
|
I thought both candidates presented themselves well.
Just a few notes:
I defiantly favor DeStefano's universal health care plan over Malloy's.
I am a bit disappointed to see that both candidates didn't flat out reject eminent domain for economic benefits. Eminent domain should be for public use only!
DeStefano refusing to return his money in place of public financing was a bit troubling. Byciewicz and Malloy both agreed to return their funds in that case.
We all have to get together here....and get rid of Snow White.

And I think that Malloy won the debate in terms of actually debating, but he doesn't seem to have as good a plan as Destefano. He was talking a lot about what he has done, not what he will do. I did get the sense that Mark Davis isn't a big Destefano fan though.

so I guess I would say Malloy won the debate. Malloy seemed to be more consistent, displayed more confidence and seemed to have taken the more proactive approach. He really got DeStefano "stuck" when talking about the finance reform issue.
However, I think I am still voting for DeStefano.
