What's this "bullshit" I saw on the local TV news tonight about Susan Bysevich (sp.?) saying there will be new voting machines in the primary elections? I thought she had decided to fore go the new machines for the time being because none that were tested were affordable for the State????? They looked like the "scanner" type. Are they going to be just in certain areas, or all over the State? If anyone knows for sure , please speak up now, so I can do an absentee ballot!! I'm pretty sure we are still using the lever type here in town, but damn!! I've been telling all of the interested out of Stater's "not to worry, we don't use the new machines here in Ct." !!:wtf:

They said the machines will NOT be ready in time for the primaries. They are supposed to be ready for the general election in November. The new machines are the optical scan type and the Sec. said there will be a paper trail.

I only caught this part way through, and I evidently missed the most important part. This is good news as far as I'm concerned. Thank you for the correct info! See when you get as old as I am, "heart attacks and anxiety attacks" come TOO easily and often. All of this is just too stressful for me! I often wonder , when watching our Reps and Sens "butting their heads on the wall" how they keep from dropping dead on the floor from this bullshit going on!:banghead: Thanks to all who replied!:hi:
