Question about Republicans voting in the CT Democratic Primary

In CT, does a Republican or Independent have to register as a Democrat to vote in the primary? Can they register right up until tomorrow, or would they have to do that in advance? The only way that I could see Joe winning is if this scenario happened.

I'm pretty sure. Deadline for Repub to Democrat was last week or even earlier.

If you want to switch from Repub to Dem, it's 90 days before the primary. Indy to Dem had until noon today to register, in person, at your town hall.
