Question about Lt. Gov. primary |
|
Does this mean it's possible the ticket could be mixed between the slates?
I'd never thought about this, but right now returns look close between DeStefano and Malloy, but Glassman is far ahead of Slifka.
Interesting.

4. Yes... I voted Destefano & Glassman |
|
She won several times as a Democrat in a Republican town, plus I think it will help to have a woman on the ticket against Rell. I think Slifka was too young.

5. Ah, I see. I was trying to figure out |
|
why people did this. I was watching WTIC on TV last night on cable. They were talking about this and joking that DeStefano and her better get to know each other now. I think it will work out. Malloy gave a very good, non bitter concession speech and said Democrats should all unite behind DeStefano. Good idea to have a woman on the ticket. I had not thought of that.

I talked with my barber and asked his opinion, and he said DeStefano deserves it, he's been working hard for a long time as a loyal Democrat. After that I was leaning toward DeStefano but I still feel bad that Malloy had to lose. Both are really gtreat mayors.

7. I didn't feel strongly against either one. |
|
What tipped me over into voting for DeStefano was Malloy's "flip-flop" ad which depicted DeStefano dressed in drag. Seemed too "Republican" for me. But I think he gave a very gracious concession speech, urging all Demcrats to stand behind DeStefano and support him. And this is a guy that lost by only a few thousand votes. Lieberman should take a lesson from him.

I wouldn't have been upset with a win by either, but I didn't like that ad at all.

10. Boy that ad was done in bad taste. |
|
Bad advice on that one.
Even that Lieberman morphing into GW was a turn-off IMHO.

8. I voted for DeStefano and Slifka. |

Mary Glassman is fully qualified too and a good choice for LT Gov.
Either way this went, I would have fully supported the ticket.
Any of these choices work for me:
DeStefano/Slifka DeStefano/Glassman Malloy/Glassman Malloy/Slifka
