He's angry that he hasn't gotten the endorsement of Washington (meaning Bush).

He also said that he's unhappy that the Connecticut Senate race has been hijacked nationally and become a referendum on whether the Liberal wing has taken over the Democratic Party.

DU owner Skinner has suggested that Lamont should try to strip some of Joe's GOP support from him by attacking Schlesinger for being too right wing. The idea is that real Repukes will see Lamont's ads and go "hey wait a minute, what am I doing, Lieberman is a liberal!" and switch back to their natural home.

I saw a LTTE in the Courant today about how this person was a Republican and how he was embarrassed at the lack of support for Schlesinger.
