A short but good
piece about Lamont's visit to the Woodstock Fair from the Norwich Bulletin...
SNIP
Although Lamont comes from the opposite side of the state, he said residents in all parts of Connecticut ask him about the same issues: Jobs, education and government.
"Looking at the map, I don't think you can get much farther away from Greenwich than Woodstock," Lamont said. "But they have a lot of the same things on their minds -- bread-and-butter issues."
One of the first people to walk up to Lamont, as soon as he paid his $10 fair admission, was Brian Bunting of Harwinton. Bunting shook Lamont's hand and said he was concerned about the climate for small businesses in Connecticut. Bunting owns a concessions business that sells pre-fried and frozen dough products.
"I'm glad somebody's going after Lieberman," Bunting told Lamont. "It's been one of the worst years for small, independent business people."
