Hi -
Democrats from several Quiet Corner towns have been talking for some time now about forming a group to help support our local DTC's and to give our region a more `cohesive' voice. The Quiet Corner, with over 115,000 registered voters, could greatly benefit from a `DTC NETWORK' to share information, ideas and talents. With the changes in campaign finance laws and the upcoming Municipal Elections, the time to organize is now!
To this end your neighbors in Brooklyn, Canterbury, Killingly, and Hampton would like to invite you to join us in planning the birth of THE QUIET CORNER DEMOCRATS.
We plan to meet on Monday, December 18th at the Hampton Town Hall Community Room and would love for you to join us. We'll be meeting at 7pm for coffee and conversation, followed by a meeting at 7:30pm.
All Democrats are welcome, so feel free to bring a friend or neighbor. (You don't need to be a DTC member.)
Please RSVP to me at this email address ( info@CanterburyDemocrats.com ) or call 860-457-8621 .
We hope to set a proposed mission statement for the group, and create a plan to recruit folks from all 27 Quiet Corner Towns.
Regards -
