Medical Marijuana Law

Today, I received in the mail this letter from a women, who's a doctor, who lost her husband to cancer. In the last months of his life, he used marijuana to help him sleep, eat and to ease his pain.

Included in the letter was three forms.
1. To send to my State Rep
2. To send to my senator
3. To send to the Marijuana Policy report in D.C.

CT has proposed H.B. 5355 to remove the threat of arrest and imprisonment fo patients who use medical marijuana. It also allows them to grow 5 plants.

If any one else in CT has received this letter please send the documents out and help get this bill passed. No matter what you think of marijuana for recreational or medical purposes at least give those who are ill a chance to live a somewhat decent life free of pain. Give them a chance to heal. Plus, who knows what are future holds. Maybe (let's hope not but) one of us will need marijuana for medical purposes in t he future to help us at our time of need.
