Knock, knock....an Iowan here with a question about DE's race. |
How energized are the Dems there? I just heard someone on MSNBC claim that the Rs will the ones to GOTV there. Does the mere presence of O'Donnell on the ticket increase the chances that Ds will get out in numbers, or is there a chance that because she is polling so low people will sit at home and assume that there is enough votes to ensure a Dem win? Just wondering.

1. I think there are a lot of Castle repubs that will vote for Coons |
Nobody in their right minds would want that loon in public office. It is scaring me a bit because O'Donnell signs are like a plague on the landscape here in New Castle Co., but I don't think it's individuals. Most of them seem to be along roads, in public areas, medians, etc.

2. Polls from Wednesday have her 13-17pts behind Coons |
O'Donnell will get a solid 35% and everything else is a bonus. Coons will get a solid 50%. Because the democratic voters are so overwhelming up in New Castle County, a county with way more voters than the other 2 counties combined - this is turning into a safe race for the Dems.
But still we campaign everyday like the race is tied.
