Protest on 2nd anniversary of Iraq War
Friday, March 18th 2005 12 noon Wilmington, DE

Procession from war memorials in Brandywine Park to office of Senator Biden, then to Sen. Carper, and then Congressman Castle. We will be giving each of them a collage of photos of the 1500 US troops killed so far and a collage of the names of 3,000 Iraqis killed. From there we will process to the Federal Bldg., where the names of the US dead will be read and an act of civil disobedience will take place.

Location:
Gather at noon between the Memorial for the DE African American Medal of Honor Recipients and the Vietnam Memorial at Brandywine Park.

Be prepared to do a sit in if the police try to drive you off! Look at this video and see what happened in Westfield NJ 1 week ago today when Bush held what he likes to call an "orderly Town Hall" meeting. This is real amateur video posted in various lengths and formats that shows arrests and dispersal of a crowd for the "convenience" and "entertainment" of Republicans exiting the event.
