1. You talking about Pacem in Terris |

I haven't been to meetings in ages because I work down in Newark and never get home til late enough. But I do donate to them through my United Way contributions.
As for the candidate running against Castle. The guy has my vote but I'll probably drive north to Pennyslvania for my active campaigning. Castle is a tough cookie to beat and I think there are about 3-4 seats in Eastern PA alone that are possible democratic pickups where they need the help (Plus helping to oust Rick Santorum).
But then again I'm a Pennsylvanian at heart (I moved to DE about 5 years ago).

Born and raised in West Chester and still a Pa. boy at heart! Sounds good about campaigning against Senator Sanctamonius, (or Sanitarium whichever fits best) Ha! I was disappointed when I visited the Pa. Dems website and found nothing about Casey's campaign. I e-mailed them and told 'em so. I work for NCC HeadStart all around the county but our main office is out in Newark University Plaza. If you remember Paul Donnelly, he was a co-worker of mine.

3. Newark University Plaza - where the Pathmark is? |
|
We love the Bamboo House!
I also work in Newark but originally worked in downtown Wilmington until they relocated us.
I was born and raised in Central PA and Joe Paterno can go kiss my ass for being the idiot Bush-bot that he is and helping with that idiot son of his to run for a congressional district he didn't even live in (Scott Paterno, who according to his tax returns never made more than $15k/year, managed to buy a $225k house in PA-17 so he could run against democrat incumbant Tim Holden. Daddy's hand was in that one so I'm extremely anti Penn State, well at least the football program).

University Plaza is just off !-95 south exit where 273 West meets Chapman Rd.
Let me tell you about JoePa. Since 1966 PSU was my one and only footbal team. I lived and died with them guys. Before I gave it all away I had so much valuable memorabilia it ain't funny. He was an idol, and as a high school coach myself, at Mt Pleasant, I even had a couple of personal coaching meetings with him and his staff up there. Then, I saw the way he went BEZERK when he introduced Chuckles the Chimp at a rally; (and Repugs think Howard Dean lost it) I was just shell shocked and seriously bummed out! I just can't understand how somebody as wise as I know him to be could support an individual like Bush. Anyways, as it stands now, I'll always root for the team, just like I will tonight. I even had a chance to go down to the game. But, unlike the last 40 years, after any loss disappointed me, I now say, Good for You Joe! You ant-eater nosed, coke bottled, 4 eyed Freeper! Ha! Did his son get elected, I thought he lost?
