Happy Peaceful Mother's Day..... |
|
http://www.delawareonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060515/NEWS/605150331/1006/NEWS Wearing a dressy raincoat and hat, Wilmington resident Frieda Berryhill stood stoicly in the rain Sunday night carrying a sign that said: "War is not Patriotic."
"It's a nasty job, but somebody has to do it," said Berryhill, who also demonstrates with Pacem in Terris most Friday evenings in Wilmington.
A senior citizen, she has four children and three grandchildren -- some of whom treated her to a Mother's Day brunch and flowers earlier in the day.
"My youngest son even cleaned the gutters for me," Berryhill said. "You can't ask for more than that!"
Thanks Mom.
