DOVER -- Cerron Cade says he was looking for a way to help promote Delaware State University's College Democrats and help the 35-member group grow. Then came a phone call that gave him a great promotional vehicle.
"We got a call saying
Howard Dean was touring," he said. "It was perfect timing."
Cade said the 4 p.m. appearance by the former Vermont governor and 2004 presidential candidate on Wednesday will be open to the public and is turning into a full-blown rally at the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center.
"We're going to have the choir there," he said. "We want to give him the red-carpet treatment."
