2. I'm watching from afar

I'll be back in the state to vote in Nov. Am working on Obama campaign in NC. If we get out the vote we have it. Folks are flocking to the Dem HQ in my conservative leaning little mountain town for Obama signs THIS WEEK. I think that the "economy is basically sound" comment has put folks over the line. Keep working hard and thanks.

In Naples, a typical wealthy Republican area, I am seeing alot more obama bumper stickers then usual. I also know many young ppl who are enthusiastic and ready to pull the lever for obama.
It's lookin good. Still a long way to go.

Just looking for a place to park at coastland center I saw several Obama stickers on cars. Not saying Naples is blue by any means, but it's a gain :)

14. SARASOTA County Looking VERY VERY Good For Obama!! Was Out

canvassing this past week-end and of ALL the doors we knocked on only ONE solid McCain and ONE wouldn't say! ALL, and I mean ALL others said OBAMA/BIDEN!

I was SHOCKED!! The second Reddest County in Florida and it's really looking so much better!!

Now, if anyone here is from Sarasota, or DISTRICT 13 it's IMPERATIVE to vote for Barry Sullivan for Supervisor of Elections in Sarasota County!! Get rid of KATHY "Cruella" DENT!! And let's vote for Christine Jennings in droves! She kinda/sorta lost to Vern Buchanan last time out by 369 votes, 18,500 of which were NEVER found!!

She is having a harder time now, Jan Schneider is pulling a "Joe Lieberman" here. Once a Democrat, she is now running as NPA and drawing votes AWAY from Jennings!! I was once a Schneider supporter, but if she's willing to throw a cog in the wheel I am ready to CALL HER OUT ON IT!!

Writing a letter to the editor AND calling her personally! The Jennings campaign tried to reason with her, but she said NO! Guess she would rather have VERN again! I'm BOILING MAD!!!

doing all over the state. I am in NC and it is just as close here. People came from everywhere to the Obama rally in Asheville last Sunday. They expected 15,000 and got at least 28,000. Keep the spirit Florida, I think change is on the way.

Jennings doesn't have a shot anymore because of the way she's been campaigning.....100% negative. I hate Vern as much as everyone else here but that is not gonna win her an election. Plus Schneider could siphon quite a bit of the Dem vote because Jennings is quite conservative. Time to find a better candidate in 2010...

When I voted in the primary in Naples, I was greeted with, "Lookie here! We got ourselves a Democrat". Damn, if nothing else, isn't that ILLEGAL?

I understand that I will be given a paper receipt after voting, but it will not record WHO I voted for, so how will I know they aren't switching votes?

I just plain don't trust it.
