Any DUers in Orlando?

I'll be there for the American Translators' Association convention, which will be held at the Hilton near Disney World. I'm arriving on the afternoon of Wednesday November 5 and leaving very early on Sunday November 9.

I'd be delighted to meet any locals for dinner on Wednesday night or beverages at some other time.

The Florida forum isn't very widely viewed, or, these are working hours for most folks and they're probably not peeking in DU yet, or ... other.

How far oop North are you willing to go in the Orlando area for drinks? If no one takes you up, on your offer, I might be able to swing it if it's a weekday evening. But we need to PM the details.

3. I won't have a car, so I'll be limited to the Disney area

My plan is to take the shuttle to the hotel and back.

This trip was a last-minute decision, prompted by the realization that I needed more tax deductions. :-)
