So happy and yet so disgusted...

As happy as I am over our new President I can't be anymore disgusted with my states approval of a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage. It needed a 60% approval and got it. I was so proud of my state last night when it turned blue and now, just the next day, I couldn't be more sick. I hate this state, I really do. If it wasn't where I was born and raised, I would move...

To all you gay Floridians out there, I am truly sorry. This is such an insult to you it makes me ill and I apologize that I didn't do more to prevent this from happening...
