Way to Go Broward (proud of my home county). If only we could get the rest of the state (and country) to go along with this.

Edit: Removed the line about being progressive after reading the article on a 30% cut in arts funding.

1. When tax revenue falls, government has to cut expenditures somewhere
If it is not the arts, it will have to be some other public service, like fire or police.
