I want to see a "public" TV debate for Mayor of St. Petersburg!!

WEDU was willing to quickly set up a debate and Foster said the 20th was good. Ford camp said 19th or 20th would work. Now FOSTER says he has NO TIME TO DEBATE Mrs. Ford through election day. According to the Ford camp, there is time.

WEDU asked the TIMES respectively to join them in the TIMES/BAY NEWS 9 debate in the primary, and now again for the general election. St. Pete Times says no time to work together, maybe in 2010.

WEDU could just set up a camera, then the debate would not be EXCLUSIVE to Bay News 9! Every campaign cycle, there is no public TV debate, or a candidate will not make the time. Why run?

I want to see a St. Petersburg Mayoral Debate on public TV.
