Senator Evelyn Lynn (R) evidently thinks teachers sleep "half the time."

She said after voting for a bill which is a vicious attack on Florida's teachers, "I don’t want a teacher remaining in a classroom because she has tenure and she’s sleeping half the time."

I don't know of any teacher who sleeps AT ALL at school!!!! What is she talking about? The Republican Party of Florida has launched an attack on Florida's teachers that is unrivaled in history.

Evelyn Lynn seems to think that everyone is stupid. Years ago my husband and I were doing some citizen-lobbying in Tallahassee. She told us that there were no public employee unions in Florida --- duh!!! Then she had the gall to ask me if I had any 'problems' with my boss. I told her not any specific ones, we got along--he was very employee-center. She then said, 'well then why are you in a union?????
