TAMPA - Governor Charlie Crist defended his flexible position on the sweeping national health law that is scheduled to take effect Thursday.
Crist has drawn criticism and been accused of 'flip flopping.' A minute-long television ad paid for by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce pairs Crist with John Kerry and Arlen Specter, both of whom became notorious for their swaps.
"Charlie's your guy," the ad claims. "Until he's not."
Appearing at a business event at the University of South Florida Tuesday, Crist said the ad was unfair. The governor then spent a few minutes explaining his position on the health overhaul.
