Orange County, Florida - Sample Ballot |
|
Um, is it just that I'm new to FL or is it odd that on my sample ballot that I just received in the mail that every race lists a Republican candidate first, followed by the Democratic candidate?
Not alphabetical, not mixed up by party...always R, then D.
hmmm

1. I had to look up the laws |
|
Interesting question...
The law explains that the party listed first is always the party of the last elected governor. Crist = Repub, so all Rs go first.

2. And In Sarasota County... Crist Is 2nd To LAST On NPA... With Four Names |
|
ahead of his. Is that because he was 2nd to last in declaring? This Florida election looks simply AWFUL!! Checked polls today and even SINK is behind.
Meek is way behind Crist and Rubio is 10 pts ahead of Crist. SUCKS! Most Dems I know will vote for Crist and quite a few others I have talked to. Not sure if these polls are REALLY accurate, but somehow they end up being so when it's all over.
So, for now it looks like IT'S ALL OVER!
