So, my Florida friend calls me and tells me that Meek closed his Tampa office!
Just dumbfounded. I called the number on his website myself to hear if it was true. It is. He had a Tampa office, and now it's closed! This is not how you convince democrats outside of your winning base, to vote for you. Wow.....why stay in the race if you are closing offices? And don't his supporters have a right to know? She had no idea until she called. Very sad indeed.

1. Sad. Am afraid the cake is baked for Rubio with Crist having only a 6.7% to beat him.

Barring some miracle, both Crist and Meek are toast--so I will probably vote for the Democrat Meek.

2. I have yet to see a single poster from his campaign.
It is infuriating and terribly disappointing.

3. Expensive to blanket state with signs. Have seen Meek signs in Central Florida, though.

5. I saw the first one today. Someone put up a Meek sign, but they pulled out
a Bernie DeCastro for Senate sign and left it lying beside the Meek sign.

Not exactly the kind of behavior I endorse... having had my painstakingly handmade Geezer/Dingbat with a HOPE poster of Obama under it, pulled up and broken during the last election. The put a huge Bush/Cheney sign in its place. (I got back at them! I made another Obama HOPE poster even bigger and taped it on top of the Bush/Cheney sign, and repaired the original sign. They didn't mess with me after that. I guess they figured they would be giving me more ammunition!)

4. The primary is over
After contested primaries, campaigns often share space with state and county parties.
