Early voted at the library today and voted straight D. Sink, Meek, Corrine Brown, Maddox (Ag Comm)....
it will suck if Rubio wins, but I feel better voting D than the Crist-Flopper

4. Will be voting next Saturday but DH and I will be voting for Meek. |
|
I was making GOTV phone calls yesterday and out of all the people I talked to, only one person said they were voting for Crist. I am starting to wonder if the media or Crist campaign is making more out of the Meek being unable to win than is actually true.

6. Waited to see if Crist could beat Rubio--but he can't, so I voted absentee for the Dem Kendrick Meek |
|
Rubio has a 92% chance to win this state. Folks just don't seem to be able to figure out--that like the country, the Republicans have been in charge here for 12 years, and look where that got us! Instead, many Floridians are voting for more tax cuts and more deregulation. The gullibility is enough to make you tear your hair out.
Anger about the economy seems to be making people forget who Republicans are and what they do when in power.

9. Meek is great but got very little press. |
|
Rubio has tons of teabag money and is not going the lunatic route, and Crist is a fairly popular governor. On top of it all, we're a barely-purple state. I voted absentee for Meek because I vote my principles.

10. Because a lot of Democrats |
|
Are voting anti-Rubio instead of pro-Democratic.
Even if Rubio wins (and he probably will), we know where he stands. He has told us.
We know where Kendrick Meek stands. He has told us.
All we hear from Charlie Crist is:
"Rubio is a thug and a Tea Partier" "Meek is a loser and doesn't count" "I am the wonderful and fabulous Charlie Crist."
Not a single word on where Charlie Crist stands.

And I got a great email from Meek earlier today:
Election Day is finally here!
We've been through so much together these past months, and I've come to you with a lot of requests. But this final request is the most important one of all:
Please, get out and vote!
Not only that, get your family, friends and neighbors to vote too.
All our hard work won't mean anything unless people like you show up at the polls today.
Click here to find your polling station and vote today.
Keep in mind, this isn't just about me. It's about every single Democrat running for office here in Florida. We all need you to come through for us today.
I've just completed an incredible 24-hour campaign swing and I had the privilege of meeting thousands of my faithful supporters. I'm so grateful to all of you for your help during this campaign.
So I hope you'll bring this election cycle to a proper close by getting out and casting your vote.
Click here if you need to find your polling station.
Remember, all of us Florida Democrats are counting on you. And if you can bring a couple of friends with you to the polls--all the better!
Thanks for everything, and happy Election Day!
Kendrick

12. Glad it's all about how you "feel" |
|
How do you think the women of this state "feel" about the prospect of having the republican taliban inject themselves into their most personal decisions and intimate medical care?
Charlie Crist had the courage to go against his party and veto the abortion-ultrasound bill. He went with his principles instead of the republican party line, and may have doomed his own political future by doing so.
But never mind these important issues with real impact on people's lives and our futures. In the spirit of "if you can't beat 'em join 'em," we're apparently now all about lock-step thinking and juvenile name calling.

13. Do you really trust Charlie Crist? |
|
He won't even say publicly that he would caucus with the Democrats. I would rather support a known entity, than a political opportunist who's only goal is to stay in office.
