lawsuit on behalf of all State of Florida employees over age 50. The people not in the Deferred Retirement Program relied on the promise of it for years and now aren't going to get it. People in the DROP are getting the terms of the deal changed after they are locked into it. The high powered local firm I contacted about the in the DROP piece of it turned it down.
On edit. Why isn't Alan Grayson listed on the Florida Bar website? Did he not keep up his membership?

1. I know many people who would be very interested in joining |
|
a class action suit. All these years of being paid lower wages that other states while relying on DROP. Now, we are left with nothing.

3. Listen to this one. I spoke to a woman today who will have |
|
thirty years in with the state on July 1st, the day all the changes are supposed to take effect. She started working for the state when she was 17 years old, right out of high school so she will be only 47 when she has her thirty years in. Does that suck, or what?
