Candlelight vigil in Lakeland on Monday.

Polk County Citizens for Peace and Justice will be hosting a candlelight vigil
on Monday, September 11 in memory of the individuals and families impacted by
the tragic events of this day in 2001.

The event will be held on South Florida Ave., in front of the SouthGate
Shopping Center from 7:30 to 8:30 pm

Bring a candle with windguard! A great idea is to cut off the top of an empty
plastic gallon milk or water jug (leaving the handle) and setting a tea light
candle in the bottom. Bring your own if possible. There will be a limited
supply available that evening.
