Scott Randolph (State House 36/Orlando Area)

If you are in Central Florida, please consider helping Scott Randolph for State House 36.

This is a great progressive candidate in what should be a great progressive district - But the Republican has a lot of money to paint herself as something she isn't and trick the voters.

This seat is currently held by Sherri McInvale. McInvale used to be a registered Democrat (although she voted FOR some b.s. "Family Values" license plate and to intervene in the Terri Schiavo case). Earlier this year, Sherri switched to the Republican Party. They have given her a million dollars to spend attacking Scott Randolph.

And attack she is. She has sent out some vile piece showing a picture of Scott with a Parliament House entertainer attacking Scott's position on immigration (I don't get the connection). Sherri says she is friendly to the gay cause, she did sponsor a bill that would allow homosexual foster parents to adopt. The bill got nowhere. Maybe she knew it wouldn't pass, but got to say she advocated it.
