Next DFA Grassroots All-Star Competition Begins 1/7 - I'll Be In It!

Attention all members of Progressive Democrats of America and sympathetic Dems:

I have received word from Democracy For America Headquarters that the next Grassroots All-Star competition will focus on congressional races and begin 1/7/2008. I'll be in it!

As you may know, the recently adopted national endorsement policy for Progressive Democrats of America stipulates that a maximum of 10 - 12 candidates will receive PDA's endorsement nationwide. This means that having a PDA-endorsed candidate (read the PDA letter at http://www.corbettforcongress.com/pda) in the heat for the DFA endorsement is a big deal. My being from Florida only stokes the fire.

The meltdown over convention delegates has cost us dearly in the Sunshine State and DFA's Grassroots All-Star competition could help polish our star.

Watch for announcements here in the coming weeks. The general public is welcome to vote in the competition. Buzz means votes.
