Two questions about the proposed Amendment 1 to the state Constitution... |
|
1) It is as bad as I think it is and should not be passed, right?
2) Is it bad enough to go out and vote against even though my primary vote will be entirely useless in determining who our Democratic Presidential candidate will be?

1) Unless you're a first-time home buyer or a snowbird, it will save you money, but it will bankrupt municipalities and county governments. Vote accordingly.
2) Yes, in my opinion, your vote is needed. Although amendments in Florida now need 60 percent to pass, there's been a huge push t get this thing approved. And besides, I don't think our vote is as meaningless as it's been made out to be. In the short-term, headlines matter as much as delegates. This being the last primary before Feb. 5, it could affect the outcomes of those races.
