Here's Bill Shipp's nutty piece in support of putting Zell in charge of us Gawdless Demoncraps:

Bill Shipp's editorial advocating Zell Miller as the new DNC head brought back memories of the Democratic Presidential primaries. Remember how Zell fought tooth and nail to support Joseph Lieberman, a Democrat who shared his sentiments about a pre-emptive strike against Iraq? Remember how Zell stayed by Joe's side even as his campaign's polling numbers dropped to the single digits? Remember how Zell was able to put aside religious and regional differences and worked hard to make sure the country knew that there were conservative Democrats worthy of our attention?
Neither do I. What I remember, as do the vast majority of the 57 million American citizens who stuck with our party's nominee and came within 50,000 votes of placing our man in the White House, is a disloyal, grandstanding buffoon.
Zell couldn't be trusted to get behind conservative Democrats as a Senator. DNC chair? Let him remain in his current role: Republican houseboy.
comments, anyone?
