The lone liberal voice on Atlanta Radio |
|
His name is Ike, and he comes on at 7am on Sundays on 790AM. Has anyone else heard his show yet? For weeks he discussed the vote fraud that went occured on election day.

of Sunday morning. Your gonna get addicted- it is funny hearing nothing but talk on my radio now- only thing bad is they have CNN whore news instead of AirAmerica's national news- just turn it down for five minutes at the top of the hour :00 and botton :30. 1690 is not as polished as other affilates, I have heard in other markets, (like Miami, FL. 940). The fact that you haven't heard shows how heavly it has been promoted, which makes me wonder... Maybe they are waiting till they get their act together- lots of Tech problems, but better than nothing

4. I am not able to get AirAmerica on my car radio. |
|
I only listen to radio when I'm driving. I work in Marietta and live in Woodstock, but can't get reception from either location.

5. Just curious--is your daily commute mostly non-daylight hours? |
|
I find that WAAA 1690 (the Atlanta Air America affiliate) is especially difficult to tune in during my inbound/outbound commute these days because it's just before dusk / just after dawn, and AM stations have to reduce their wattage at night.
During the day, however, I can tune it in a lot better, although it's still pretty dicey in northern Gwinnett.

6. It is dark on my way to work in the morning. |
|
But it's broad daylight when I leave. I have tried to tune it in during the day on the radio at the office, which is in Marietta. But I can't get reception then either.

8. Guess they're just gonna have to get a better transmitter |
|
I ain't holding my breath. It is frustrating for me, not being able to tune them in much of the time, as well.

14. I live in Hall Cty, and I can usually pick up AAR in the car, but |
|
it's not great reception. I have to listen via the net at home though. I've tried every radio in the house, and nada. I'm hoping they can get enough popularity that they can get a more powerful transmitter. I really believe there are a lot of people in Ga. who would love to have an alternative to the excessive RW stuff.

10. That's an awful high frequency |
|
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the coverage area of AM radio stations decrease as the frequency increases, provided the ERP is the same.
If so, many people are going to have a hell of a time picking up AAR

It was a partisan event in Atlanta. I think Shirley Franklin was running for mayor of Atlanta.
edit: He has to hold his nose and deal with Boortz and Hannity on 750 AM.

Of COURSE he's a liberal! not even in the closet. He just doesn't attack the WSB fascisti head-on.

I don't usually have the radio on on Sunday morning, but I just wrote myself a note as a reminder to do so this Sunday.
Thanks
