Who else has just been hit by a barrage of hail?.

I'm in Woodstock, just northwest of Atlanta. A storm just came up and I was bombarded with pea-sized pellets of hail. I live in a mobile home and it sounds like rocks hitting the house.

2. we were at a little league game in N Fulton

lightning stopped the game. I could see it wouldn't get any better before the end of our time slot, ignored the coach, took my kid out of the dugout and put him in the car.

the heavens opened as we left the park. It quickly turned to cherry-sized hailstones. we turned off the main road into a subdivision under construction. The hail was thick. A deluge of hailstones. I worried the windshield would crack. I found a house under construction, went in through a side door, opened a garage door and we sat it out.

No damage to the car. On the way out, we saw a car on the side of the road with a busted out window on the rear hatchback.

The air smells like pine. All the pine trees took a beating.

Bright thick fog.

Lots of rainbows now.
