Atlanta area jewelry appraisers?

I have a few pieces from my grandmother and wondered where I might get a good appraisal. I live in western NC, and would like to go to either into Atlanta or Asheville for an appraisal (and then probably sale).

Any suggestions?

1. This might sound like a nutty idea, but

I'd contact your local PBS affiliate and see if "Antiques Roadshow" used any local appraisers when they were in Atlanta.
