FCC mtg in Atlanta 9/15 re: Katrina response

"The Federal Communications Commission has called a special meeting in Atlanta on Sept. 15 to hear presentations from its staff and industry representatives about their roles in Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts.

"The meeting starts at 11 a.m. at BellSouth Telecommunications Inc.'s Emergency Control Center at the BellSouth Midtown I Building, 754 Peachtree St. in Atlanta.

"Seating is limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis, the FCC said."

Or is this an effort for a sister agency to try to help FEMA?
