Please call his office at 202-225-2823 and ask him to support Kucinich's impeachment resolution. Henry Johnson is on board. Barrow's office told me he's "considering" it. He needs a big push, if anyone can help. Thanks!

2. I know John. He used to be my rep until he was redistricted out of Athens by the GOP.

He has surprised me with his very conservative voting record to date. He was known as one of the most liberal members of the county commission when he was a long-time county commissioner in Athens-Clarke County. I suppose he had to veer to the right to get elected as a Democrat in red, red Georgia. He pissed off the GOP by defeating Max Burns of Statesboro. Maybe if there is a sea change in the 2008 election and the Democratic party wins the presidency and takes a 60+ vote majority in the senate and gains congressional seats, he could then vote more to the left of center.
