Another group, the Swift Bar Veterans for Truth, is holding a Give Zell Hell! party at Manuel's Tavern. See their invitation below:

The Swift Bar Veterans for Truth will hold an informal get together at Manuel's Tavern to watch Zig-Zag Zell as he completes his zag with his speech at the GOP Convention.

Democrats, a Republican or two, swing state voters and People for the Ethical Treatment of Donkeys will gather for the usual tavern merriment, plus some special activities to mark Zell's final and sure to be grandiloquent act of apostasy.

Among other things we:

(1) Will reveal a new location for Zell's oil portrait.
(2) Will distribute (while they last) whoopee cushions or some similar contraption so that we can go beyond mere booing or hissing in reaction to Zell's Bulls..t.
(3) Will replace the "Give them Hell, Zell" sign made famous in 1992 with a more appropriate "Give Zell Hell" sign for 2004.

So, come one come all, celebrate the Give Zell Hell party.

I think it would be great if Kerry were to show up.
He's in the South for that American Legion speech.

He should show up and say that even though your own Senator doesn't speak for you, that's ok. John Edwards and I will when we take over next January.

I know it won't happen, but a girl can dream......
