When's the deadline to register in GA? I just moved here... |

I can get an absentee ballot from NC, I guess, if it's too late...

You still have time :) But do it soon!
On edit: make sure you go get a GA drivers license before you register so that you have the most current address available. Also, they are supposed to ask you if you want to register while you are getting your drivers license, but I have heard from numerous people that they said they wanted to do that and never got registered. Don't waste your time on this. Get sparkly new license and then go to your local Board of Elections office and register in person. Get the person's name you deal with - just in case.

2. I HATE the DMV...I'd almost rather drive back to NC to vote. |

Moved here from NY in 2006.
I did, however, bring a utility bill in my name. I did not have any problems. Last election day tho, I did need a photo ID, so I got a fancy schmancy Georgia Voter ID card. (long story... before y'all ask, Why I don't have my passport! I am working on it! :P )
Don't know what area you are in, I am in Fulton county.

I'm another one moving to GA in a couple weeks, so I'll be cutting it close, I want to make sure I get registered so I'll make sure it's one of the things I do first.
