2. I more than likely will. IMO he's got the best chance in the general election. |
|
Even if he's not perfect he's a dam sight better than any of the GOPers running.

4. Barnes is the only one |

who can win the general election. I like Poythress but he can't beat the republicans, I don't think. Hold your nose and do it!

9. I like Poythress too. He has more government experience than anyone running. |

Headed up Georgia's first Medicaid Agency, Secretary of State, Labor Commissioner, Georgia National Guard, Department of Revenue, etc. He accomplished a lot in all those positions and gives a damn about people.
That said, I'll support Barnes if he's the Democratic candidate. I am somewhat concerned with Barnes' recent support of an Arizona type law targeting people who have come here for a better life. Of course, the Republicans are out running on a platform of hate, similar to the Klan candidates of the 1950s - 1970s. But, I shouldn't blame the candidates as much as the folks who still vote for that crud.

I want to put our best candidate forward and I believe Roy gives the party the best chance in the fall election. Hopefully, Roy has learned some lessons from the past 8 years since he left office and can put those to work for the state.

8. The GOPers are tearing each other apart right now |
|
They're getting very ugle with the name calling etc. (really, how much lower can you go than calling someone a "liberal" ?!?!?!)
Meanwhile Roy Barnes' ads are straight to the point, at least giving people an indication of what he thinks is important for the state. I gotta' believe that at least a few independant voters will notice that.
