I do, however, have a Hawai'i-related Ginsberg story:

You've all heard of Michael Savage, of course. I call him "the Savage Weiner" because his true and actual name is Michael Weiner. Well, don't you know, Michael Weiner used to live here, studying botany at UH -- and while he was here, he wrote mash notes to Allen Ginsberg!!
