2. Opi, one of the topics you brought up at the luau is that Dem candidates

undergo an examination of their qualifications. DU is a great place to put untested "Dems" under the microscope before we endorse them wholeheartedly.

An example in the DU commuity would be the situation faced by Kevin_Pdamerica. He had to temporarily vacate his post with (PDA) because he wanted to manage a campaign for a Dem who he believed was more qualified than the one the PARTY was promoting. He has a current thread about the issue on the GD (everthing else).

A great idea is in the infant stages here at DU.

BTW, it was good exchange of ideas and goodies Sunday. As I head toward a possible residence in a red state, I'll be looking back at the abundance of aloha that we have recieved over here.
