5. None sighted at Central Pacific Hurricane Center
http://www.prh.noaa.gov/cphc/

No active Central Pacific Tropical Cyclones
TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER HONOLULU HI
4 PM HST TUE AUG 10 2004

FOR THE CENTRAL NORTH PACIFIC...BETWEEN 140W AND 180

No tropical cyclones are expected through 4 pm HST Thursday August 12.

None at Nat'l Hurricane Center either (eastern Pacific) so we should be good.

A container of kim chee tako poke is, however, reported to be bearing down on Kane'ohe packing intestinal gusts of up to .005 mph...

This'll be good. I have plenty of fresh new ideas plus one new book to share.

3. What age group are you guys?
My daughter and husband just moved over there and they are 22 & 25 and he is in the air force. A officer. Nice guy. They just met Clinton in Seattle before they left and now are leaning in kerry's direction. Getting hit on base with a lot of Bushies.

They are more into working out and sports than politics but I would love to have them meet some other young people on the left.

4. Hi marlakay. We are older and have very deep political discussions.
We also share a lot of Bush jokes. Perhaps we all can can meet in Honolulu when you come to visit in September. The conversation and respect for the office of president can be kept within reasonable limits so your son doesn't feel uncomfortable.

I visit Hickam Air Force Base from time to time but I never discuss politics with the men and women stationed there because it would be rude to criticize their commander in chief on their turf.

Again. please pm me when you come to town and we can plan an interesting evening with local Dems. :-)
