Fw: Safe Vote Bill hearing (& HAVA funding bill & "Clean Elections")

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your continued support! The Safe Vote Bill HB1740, HD1, SD1 crossed
over from the House and passed through the last hearing in the Senate Judiciary and
Hawaiian Affairs Committee. The Senate Committee through testimony and
recommendations from Safe Vote Hawaii re-inserted two important provisions that were
taken out in the House. Now the bill is scheduled for another hearing in the Senate
Ways and Means Committee this Thursday, March 31 at 9:00 am. Please re-submit your
written testimonies asap either by fax or email. Let's show our Legislators that
there is still STRONG grassroots support for this important bill which will restore
voter confidence in Hawaii.
