Please join us on Wednesday, October 1, for an afternoon discussion with Robert Kuttner, an EPI co-founder and board member, about his timely new book, Obama's Challenge: America's Economic Crisis and the Power of a Transformative Presidency.
Robert Kuttner
OBAMA'S CHALLENGE
America's Economic Crisis and the Power of
a Transformative Presidency
(Signed copies of the book will be available for sale at event.)
Kuttner makes the case that, if elected, Barack Obama could re-awaken America to the promise of shared prosperity. But he must act decisively to become a transformative president. Otherwise, his efforts will fail. Kuttner will share a panel with E.J. Dionne, a nationally syndicated columnist for The Washington Post and a senior fellow in Governance Studies at the Brookings Institution. Dionne is the author of Souled Out: Reclaiming Faith and Politics after the Religious Right (Princeton University Press, 2008).
