The ISU College Dems are usually able to get a few people to buy us a table, so it is free-generally speaking.
If your wife is a student, she should get involved with the ISU College Dems. We meet Wednesdays in the Student Union Bldg at 6, on the third floor in one of the meeting rooms.
The Idaho Progressive Student Alliance meets at 7 at Goody's-across from campus. Of course you are welcome to come and participate-we would love to have you.
College Dems is the best way to get connected to the party and other Dems-trust me.
There are two candidates for Congress in the 2nd-which includes Pocatello-all of southeastern Idaho, over to Twin, up to Sun Valley and includes part of Boise.
Craig Cooper-who I am supporting as of now. He is an oceanographer in Idaho Falls and has a good website which details his views:
http://www.cooperforidaho.com/And Jim Hansen, who is a bit more Liberal. He lives in Boise and is a lawyer. When I checked on Tuesday, his website was not up. I am probably more in line with Jim, politically speaking, but his campaign has little to no organization. Right now Craig has things for volunteers to do and a bigger opportunity for more involvement.
However, both are running clean campaigns and whoever wins the primary will inherit the other persons staff and resources. Of course, we would love to welcome you to the Cooper team, but I understand if you feel better supporting Jim. I will check today to see if his website is up and running.
Lastly, you can help out the Brady for Governor campaign. Bit of a warning here-on two occasions I have made contact with the campaign to volunteer and both times have ended up yielding no return communication. Brady has lots of money and a very good staff. Rumor has it his fundraising person(s) are working 14 hours a day to raise money.
http://www.bradyforidaho.org/Before I forget, there is the superintendent race. There are, as of now, two awesome Dems running. I am not sure who I support, but I really like Jana Jones because she has great experience and was endorsed by the soon to be retiring, current Dem super. Marilyn Howard-she is also a woman, and right now, there are too many men in power in Idaho, and the rest of the country:

PM me if you have any questions! Good luck! Hope to meet you and your wife soon!
