what's the buzz? Any words of wisdom for a middle aged liberal? I am thinking of putting my democratic underground sticker on my luggage!

1. Learn a few words of Basque and visit the Basque section |
|
Kaixo (KAI-show) -- Hello Agur (AHG-oor) -- Good Bye Eskerrik Asko (Es-KERR-eek AHS-ko) -- Thanks much! Komuna non dago? (Koh-MOO-nah nohn DAH-goh) -- Where's the bathroom?
Basque-Americans tend to be Democrats and "independent" Republicans.

Make time to drive up to Moscow, in north-central ID. Cool little University of ID town. Cool natural food co-op. Cool independent Radio station(KUOI 89.3FM.)Sometimes cool bars--John's Alley for late-night music; the Corner Club for cheap beer, sports on TV and come as you are atmosphere. Cool bookstore on Main(BookPeople.) Cool, Cool, Cool! Then go about 70 miles north up to Coeur D'Alene and maybe Spokane just to mess around in some beautiful country.
