Cheney may visit Idaho to stump for Sali again

COEUR D’ALENE — Vice President Dick Cheney may pay another visit to Idaho next week, possibly to stump for congressional candidate Bill Sali.

Cheney attended an August fundraiser for Sali at the Boise Center.

The Coeur d’Alene Airport in Hayden is busy making preparations to accommodate Air Force II on Nov. 2, said Greg Delavan, airport manager.

"We’re going to have to close the airspace," Delavan said.

The vice president’s office would not confirm whether a trip was planned.
