No link but he says this is his last term in Congress.
I'll admit I don't like the guy, but it seems a bit suicidal. Especially if Jesse Jackson Jr, also runs.
If they both run, Daley is a bigger lock than usual.

i think he is a great mayor. really people, we have to learn to love our dems, and not measure them by what the local lying republican rag says about them. by their works you shall know them. look around at this city. anyway, i do not think that jr will run. his sights are set higher.

For any non-Illinois, non-Chicago readers who aren't familiar with local politics, let me assure you that when you word associate with the term "progressive politics," Rich Daley is not exactly the first name to pass your tips. Or the second. Or the third....
