john stroger in rush hospital!

i think this is hilarious. i loved the nurses in the lobby, buttin' in on the cameras, asking why he is not in the john stroger jr hospital. what a hypocrite.

2. The new Cook County Hospital is named after Stroger.

The county touts it as a wonderful hospital. So it is ironic that Stroger is in Rush Medical Center.

the nurses at cook county are all but on strike. their rallying cry hs been- why do we make so much less than nurses at uic (the university hospital that is also right there.), we are r.n.s, we do the same job, we have the same qualifications, why are we making less money?
so, when the press attacked stroger's doc with questions, he ducked, and they jumped in front of the cameras to say- hey, we love our chairman, we want to know why he isn't in his own hospital where we can take care of him.
it was great. i love nurses.
